February 2007: Salem, Virginia — Couvrette Building Systems has developed the next generation Friction Glide Kiosk for ATM installations. The Couvrette Friction Glide offers an advanced glide design that allows the ATM to move easily into and out of the service position. Engineered with a focus on quality, the Friction Glide offers very long kiosk life, requires less maintenance, and fewer service calls.

The unique overhead design of the glide mechanism assures that any debris that may get trapped beneath the ATM will not affect the operation of the kiosk. The simplified engineering of the product offers shorter production lead times, and the Friction Glide is available for most kiosk sizes from 48" and up. An optional canopy provides security down lighting as well as backlit sign panels for greater visibility and branding. The height of the building may be specified at 93.5” or 114”, creating the effect of a monument sign that draws customers to the ATM.

The Friction Glide is constructed from the highest quality steel or galvaneel building materials. The kiosk is insulated, and comes with an automatic AC/heat unit that ensures the ATM will stay at its optimum operating temperature. Couvrette uses high quality automotive paint with a 10-year warranty, which guarantees that the kiosk will stay beautiful as well as functional for many years.
