Product Bulletin: 1074i and 1074ix Enhanced Security Surround
Adds a Second Level of Alarmed Detection

Couvrette’s 1074i and 1074ix Enhanced Security Surround is designed to address the security concerns of financial institutions who have deployed 1074i and 1074ix Islander Surrounds. The Enhanced Security Surround adds a second level of alarmed detection to the hinges on the ATM.

The steel surround features two locking security panels that cover the hinges on the ATM. An internal customer-supplied remote or local alarm system activates if the panels are tampered with, alerting law enforcement officers of a possible break-in and adding a second level of alarm protection to the ATM. The security panels also increase the time required by thieves to access the cash cassettes. The security panels can be easily unlocked and rotated away from the ATM, allowing the machine to be accessed for servicing or cash refills. A backlit signcan increase visibility to the installation. Couvrette also supports any customer paint color and provides marketing and branding graphics for any requirement.
